Oncology 60 minutes massage

A client bespoke massage, designed to meet the unique and changing needs with cancer treatments, with a friendly and thorough consultation to ensure you are comfortable. Using light touch therapy techniques with slow rhythmic sequences. Sam trained with Jennifer Young – Beauty Despite Cancer. A heated blanket is also a great way to relax muscles and feel cosy. Cushions, supports and pillows are available for extra comfort. Nothing beats tranquility to ease the mind and body.

Massage may reduce pain, fatigue, nausea, anxiety and depression. Massage will help improve sleep, the health of the scar tissue and quality of life. To receive gentle, compassionate accepting touch therapy is fundamental.

Warm stones can be incorporated into the massage. The stones will not be hot due to any neuropathy conditions and always tested by the therapist prior to application. (add on £8 to the massage session). The best time for this treatment is just before or just after chemotherapy.

I wear a guard at night as I bite and both times, my jaw was “re-set“. Sam is a wonderfully warm person who takes her calling very seriously. I have just done the Ashiatsu Fusion Massage training with Sam and it has been amazing, I loved it and recommend Sam and the course, as she is a great teacher and therapist very thorough and patience and always having the best interest on the student, safety and well-being and very focus on the care of the client. I have different qualifications in massage and Sam is the best Massage therapist’s teacher I have had, caring and kind and generous and very knowledgeable and a great researcher. Sam is extremely knowledgeable and professional but the same time, very passionate, has the kindest heart and cares so much about her students and clients. Her Ashiatsu course is super high standard, I would highly recommend her to those who are seriously passionate about pursuing Ashiatsu career.  I feel like my world got a whole lot bigger now , with all that I learned from Sam!!
